There was a FREE Broxbourne Let's Go Play event with loads to do including; den building, hula hooping, pond dipping, bouncy castle, pottery painting, messy play and sports activities.
Also Chexs (Cheshunt Extended Schools Consortium) held its first annual growing club event.
Most schools in the area attended and there was an amazing amount of produce - onions, beetroot, lettuce, peas etc. The local MP was among the judges, and certificates and trophies were awarded.
Greenfield won a certificate for the best lettuce in the show (we also had an excellent marrow, but that wasn't successful) and a silver gilt for the produce overall.
Holdbrook Primary School won the trophy.
