16 Sep 2009 - Sure Start Children's Centre Week

 On Wednesday 16th September we held an Open Day event in the annexe. A number of parents came along and found out about what we do at Greenfield. Some signed up to attend a course (this year we will be offering Numeracy, Basic and more advanced Computing, Literacy and First Aid), others found out about groups they can come along to and how to register their child for Pre-school.

The parents and their young children enjoyed rhyme time and story sessions, as well as other activities such as playdough, construction and sticking activities, and then went home with goody bags. 

Linda, Nicky and Kerry, who have all been busy over the holidays decorating our fence cut a ribbon and were presented with bouquets to show our appreciation for all their hard work and skill. This fence will give many children great pleasure and a source of conversation for many years.
